I bought their album on a whim, and the first track comes out blazing. Quickly, it starts to drag, and the entire album just dies. The speed dies, the riffs die, the drumming starts to be uber-weak. I'm so sick of those bands. The Faceless puts all bands in that genre (except for some genre-benders like Despised Icon, Ion Dissonance, and a few others) to fucking shame. I'm glad they've set the bar so high, let the drop-off begin. I would only see them because of the newer stuff. They're a decent band at best but nothing original. The Faceless and Sleep Terror are probably my two favorite bands right now, along with Melechesh.
