Huge Basement Show going on this Saturday April 12th, 2003. Everyone will be let in at 6:30 pm and the show starts at 7:00 pm. It's going to be at 268 Woodland Circle in Ludlow Massachusetts. Directions are as follows. When you get into Ludlow, make your way to Center Street, follow Center Street down past the Fire Station and keep following it for quite some time. You'll take a right onto Moore Street, then Woodland Circle will be your first street on the Left. Drive around the circle and look for where the cars and people are at. The show is gonna feature, TEARS FROM the SUN, The Ball Point Massacre, the black book diaries, and another band. It's gonna be an awesome show, so make sure you show up. Yea the black book diarrheas suck royal ass. i saw them at the burial show at fat cats and they blew hard. the bassist needs come talent, along with the whole band. there style is so unorigional with the whole 30 second song thing has been played out. already done by the daughters, anal cunt,and a million others. if the other bands in this "Basement" show are like them, its not worth going to. ive never heard of them anyways, tears from the sun.....isnt that a movie?

Your opinion on black book diaries is somewhat harsh, but you are entitled to your opinion. I can assure you all that black book diaries will be the only band playing 30 second songs. As black book diaries play an 8 minute set, the rest of the bands will play a 30 minute set each. TEARS FROM the SUN is not the name of a movie, Tears of the Sun is the name of the movie. If you want to talk about bands being named after movies, why don't you go talk to burnt by the sun because they got their's straight from a movie. BITCH! amherst is kind of a hike for me, got any black book diaries mp3s i could preview before i go and make a 2 hour trip to a basement show??

it was pretty bad timing to come out with a band called Tears FROM the sun in practically the same month as a major motion picture called Tears OF the Sun. Its kind of a hackneyed name anyways. I dunno, i haven't even heard you band yet.

why don't you come and check out TEARS FROM the SUN at the basement, i guarantee you will not regret it. You can even write us up in a review on returntothepit.com and tell everyone that the trip was worth it. You'll probrobly end up liking The Ball Point Massacre too. Mike honestly it doesn't matter what people say about any band...2 hours is quite a trip especially when you're unfamiliar with them. If Amherst is closer than 2 hours, then I'd just save yourself sometime and just make the trip to UMass if it is indeed closer. And nope, no MP3s as of yet, but we will be demoing pretty soon. I think we're actually playing a show with you (if you know what I mean). You probably have talked to George, our guitarist.

Fuck the umass show. go to the basement show. i have heard great things about BallPoint Massacre and Tears. Also, i heard that bbd pussied out of the show cuz they suck and wanted to headline, even tho they suck. so they suck. and the guitarist looks like a bird. with a heroin addict drummer and a singer that sounds like a dog barking. so im glad if they dont go. they should kill themselves

Show Update: we regret to inform you, that the black book diaries will not be attending the basement show. They didnt want to play first or second on the bill. also, their drummer is ditching them to see dillinger. so if your going to see the bbd, you wont be seeing them. however, we will be playing with 2 other bands and tears from the sun headlining, who you dont want to miss. just letting you know

I just have to say that, for the most part, in my opinion, the show went rather well. I'm not counting Fiz Roy's disasterous set, although the guy on keyboards sounded sick. Unfortunately, the black book diaries were unable to make it to the basement show because their singer has mistaken his band with As The Sun Sets and he thinks his shit doesn't stink. On the other hand, the show was wicked sick because Fiz Roy opened up with some hypnotic tech-deth-metal. After that, since woody the woodpecker had to wun all da way home, yours truly, The Ballpoint Massacre, went on and played our set. The headliners were Tears From The Sun. Now they were fuckin sick. They had furious guitar riffs, insane drumming, powerful basslines, aaaaannnnnnddddd a pretty good singer. All in all, this show went well. As a struggling musician, I have a mutual respect for Tears From The Sun and I'm looking forward to playing more shows with them in the future.:

HELL FUCKING YEAH. but i'm not gonna talk about how the black book diaries didn't show up or how much in some peoples opinion suck. For the most part the show kicked ass, fizroy with a 30 minute jam set i'm sure suprised alot of people me included. The Ball Point Massacre was insane coming through with some sick guitar riffs and awesome vocals and insane drumming, and over all putting on one really awesome set coming through with a ton of energy. We definetly look forward to playing with them again. It really is too bad about the Black Book diaries though i wish they had shown up and proven alot of people wrong about them but ehh what can you do? Look for all these band soon. yeah the show went really good, all the bands were fucking ill. Fizroy kicked it off with some tunes everyone seemed to be feelin'. The Ball Point Massacre went on second and fucking kicked ass. Awesome singing, nasty drumming, and some crazy guitar riffs. Their bassist had some sick parts to. Altogether one awesome band. We played next and people seemed to enjoy it. As to black book diaries playing it's no big deal, their set was only 8 minutes so that does make 2 cancellations. All in all it was not a show to miss. I definately look forward to playing more shows with The Ballpoint Massacre because they are fucking sick. To Fizroy start making songs again because that shit you guys pretty much jammed on was phat. Keep your ears open for shows with The Ball Point Massacre and TEARS FROM the SUN. I think Josh Yelle is definitely better in Tears From the Sun than in BBD but whatever.
