LAMB OF GOD was set to perform their second night of a 33 date tour
at L’Amour the “Rock Capitol of Brooklyn.” The anticipation was high, the show was sold out the fans were wound up by opening acts Atreyu, Eighteen Visions and Chimaira as well as 6 other local NY metal bands; when Lamb of God hit the stage with the energy of a
tornado. By the second song lead singer Randy Blythe flew into
the crowd in a stage dive and completely hit the floor to the tune of a deafening thump. Lifeless , the crowd drew him up and passed him over the hundreds of fans heads to safety. LAMB of GOD stopped the performance to see if their comrade was ok. The tour manager
whisked him off to the paramedics/hospital to see if he had
injured himself more severely than was known. After the band checked on Randy, guitarist, Mark Morton grabbed the mic and said they'd play a few songs until Randy came back out. They did about 2 instrumentals then the singer from Chimaira, Mark Hunter came out to support their tour mates by trying to sing; he kept on giving the mic to the crowd admitting he didn’t know the lyrics. Fans were all around the stage singing the lyrics when Chimaira vocalist asked one of the kids to get on stage, which he does and finishes the set in 6 songs and sang them almost perfectly. Jay Sica, age 18 years from Jersey who sings in a band called 'Carnapple', they cover Black Label really pulled through for Lamb of God in the absence of their injured vocalist. Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton states “the chaos that we put forth can sometimes be perilous, with us you get the real thing.”

The audience felt that it was cool that LOG went on and played and
that the kid in the audience did a good job filling in for Randy. The fans left the show feeling that they just saw something pretty cool. The tour manager made an announcement that Randy was ok, No broken bones but a very sore shoulder. The band will come back to play L’Amour to make it up to the fans and will continue the rest of the tour
with Randy, dates are as follows:

reminds me of the time the automata played a set without their singer so their whole set was everyone in the crowd taking turns singing. pretty fun stuff.
