All these lousy nu-metal bands are so concerned with "making it" and always lump all forms of extreme metal into the "death metal" category, saying "oh, you'll never play this and that" blah blah blah. Just because they suck the corporate ass of WAAF and whatever else that somehow their music can be construed as decent, when in fact that which emanates from a monkey's ass is more musically viable

Rapcore sucks. The best band around here that ever did that shit was that .357 band from Methuen, because their riffs were all metal riffs and some of their lyrics actually weren't bad. Oh, and they broke up what almost a decade ago? And stayed broken up. Because they had a clue! Look what happened after that...Limp Bizkit, P.O.D. and all you amazing underground innovators on the style.

Just because you played for 1000s of people does not imply that 1) you were good, or 2) you have any credibility. The New Kids on the Block played in front of 10s of 1000s of screaming people at a time. Were they good? I have had the misfortune of seeing your band. Noone was screaming. Locobazooka is gay, and the only reason you were mentioned in Playboy or Farmclub is because they were trying to sneak in on a trend at the time, and also because you played for 1000s of people.

hahaha, i know a lot of people who were into eastcide back in the day. the drummer used to hang out at my school. i never met him and i never liked the band. i thought they were gay and didn't care when people bitched about them squandering all the opportunities they had to make it big.

i think one of my old friends used to hang out with t-house of the almighty. i don't remember ever hearing their music, i just remember thinkinjg they weren't the type of band i would want to listen to.

thirdly, one of the guys in j-base was friends with my girlfriend. i never met him, he might be a nice guy and all, but i checked out their music on myspace a while back, and i can't say their break up saddens me at all.

i was forced into witnessing an Eastcide "performance" once upon a time. they played in the empty restaurant section of some venue in Salisbury beach while everyone was waiting for another show. the line was only like 15 feet from where they were playing, and EVERYONE had their back turned to them. they suck. no self respecting man or woman would be caught dead liking a band like Eastcide, never mind being IN the band. good god. why dont we see reunions of bands like Emperor or Godflesh? no it has to be bands like Eastcide. no wonder New England is so pissed off. i normally dont condone the berating of an up and coming band, as i myself am in one, but since its Eastcide i am exempt.
