We played with RRH last night, and they are nice guys, take it easy on them. Regardless of whether you love or hate their riffs or the singer's voice, at least they are playing some real metal in the vein of early 90s Metal Blade stuff like Panic or Lethal.

Is Saints in Hell the Judas Priest cover band?

seriously. lay off tuff guy. those guys are stand up dudes and they're playing because they love playing, and I fucking respect that. and the singer is the man, eat it.

Ok then.

i remember seeing them once and not being totally into it, but it was metal and they seemed like cool guys. they were really good at what they did and i liked it a bit but it wasn't my favorite thing ever. i'd play a show with those guys anytime.

They play old school thrash, take it or leave it pretty much. Tim told me before that they know they're not gonna like, take off and tour or anything, they just play because they can't imagine not being in a band. That's probably the most genuine reason to do so, I think. I dig their music, then again I'm a sucker for 80's thrash. ;)

i definitely agree with that. it's the same reason why i play in a band. i don't really care about making it big or having everybody like the music. i make the music i make because i like it and because life is way too long when you don't have something you enjoy doing. music is one of the only things i actually enjoy spending time doing. that and posting absurd shit on return to the pit.

who doesn't live for posting absurd shit on RTTP. haha. That's all I've got to do today, I'm grounded to my bed.

i'm waiting for my girlfriend to get back from the store. there's not enough time for me to actually go get anything done on my list of things to do, so i'm wasting time on rttp. best site ever.

I've never liked their music, but they are really nice guys.

i have always thought they sucked as well. i saw them open for DRI once and it was pretty horrible.

I remember seeing this band a lot in like 99'-00' thinking they were terrible covering
'bright sunshining day' and such. Also opening for a BLOOD HAS BEEN SHED/ONE KING DOWN/ALL THAT REMAINS show wasn't exactly ideal. But hey, they are still going and get respect for that just as long as I don't have to hear it anymore. haha.

yeah, RRH isn't my flavor of music, but they're all nice guys. Tim's a down to earth guy, and I respect them for playing their own style. they sounded great on Sunday.
