LUCID THE RIVER (former members of Arsonata, Newandyke, and In Search Of) Ambient tech. metal band in Southern CT seeks VOCALIST. Main influences include, but not limited to: ISIS, Neurosis, Mastodon, Burnt by the Sun, Carcass, Opeth, Between the Buried and Me, Pelican, Coalesce, Old Man Gloom, Mare, Rosetta, Dredg, Candiria, the Postman Syndrome, the End, (just about anything on Relapse Records, I’m on their street team) etc...Looking to create a thick heavy sound, that is melodic and crushing with some ambient parts, well composed and technical. We'd like a vocalist who can add something different to a "heavy" sound, one who can scream and maybe do clean vocals in some parts tastefully.
