I randomly turned on my radio yesterday and stumbled on a station that mentioned sterns show. I went out this morning and the Stern show was on during my way to work. I never could actually get any station that had the show. Well I heard them discussing that today was the 2nd to last day on Free Radio before they move to Sirius.

Sucks for people who listen to his show will now have to pay for Sirius but I'm sure the show will be even more ridiculous with no FCC in the way.

im thinkin about having a group all throw in for sirius here in town so i can relay the stern morning show over the pirate radio station

I guess there is a big thing in NYC outside tommorrow but I doubt many people will be going because of the Transit protest and simply because it's friggen freezing outside on top of the storm that suppose to come through.

actually people are flying in from all around the country to be there..damn stern fans
i got an email about it too

no doubt the die hard fans will be there no matter what, but there would be many more if it was nicer outside.

a sirius radio is 130$ and to sign up for if it is around 13$ a month it's not that bad a deal.

they have a car unit for $80 with a $30 rebate. SO $50 for sattalite radio and it comes with a free car dock to hook it up.

didnt he sign a contract for something crazy like 550 million or some shit?

I listened to it this morning on my ride in, as I posted, i knew the weather wouldn't affect people going...there are a ton of people there. I listened up until beetlejuice was talking (when he was supposed to be introducing Staind..yuck)

stained is about to do the beetle jews song. man do they suck. it's almost embarassing listening to it. sounds like a bunch of school girls who got their lunches stolen from them. they took a song that is supposed to be funny and made it a bitch fest.
