kind of a silly name for a CD, but I've always liked Cannibal Corpse, some of their stuff gets boring at times, but that happens with any band. I'm sure the promos for this album will be rolling out soon though, so hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on one of them

they should get barnes back and do a tour of nothing but the first four records. then they should break up.

it wasnt weird at all... actually... it was the same. saw em up at the bombshelter with the origin guy in place of ownes.

to be completely honest... the guy from origina has better hand work than owens anyway... as does o'brien

toggletoggle post by DreamingInExile   at Dec 23,2005 2:34pm
the thing about Owen is he hasn't really written any of the music since Vile, after that Webster wrote almost everything. Owen is a great guitarist, don't get me wrong, but I think O'Brien and Barrett are much better.

I have high hopes for this album, I highly enjoyed "wretched spawn" as it was much more of a musical progression for the boys since "gore obsessed". They were the band that got me into metal, so I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for em'. And they always put on a good show live.

you'd think that would be a cool idea, unfortunately chris barnes is now one of the shittiest death metal singers ever; i doubt he could pull off the stuff he did on butchered at birth or tomb of the mutilated.

i hate six feet under as much as anyone with a brain does, but i would rather see barnes up there struggling, gasping for breath doing the old songs then ever see them play new stuff again. if they got the same lineup as "the bleeding" to do a tour i would be pumped.

as much as i don't like six feet under, i was forced to sit through their set once when they opened for danzig. his vocals sounded great live. thats all that sounded good.

agreed I'd like to know too, musically, they're more advanced, and without Barnes' anti woman lyrics they got better still. I'm going to like these guys regardless of who's singing. yes, it's true that the pre-Vile albums were great, but all the post-bleeding albums on a whole got better and better, they expanded on the ideas that founded their music and got better and better.

Jack is an icon in Death Metal.Seeing them live without him was very weird. And who said he hasnt contributed since the Vile album? He wrote the majority of the riffs. And Rob Barret aint better.

I dont understand why some people hate Six Feet Under so much. Most of their stuff is cool.Barnes went in a different direction with this band.
