It would be nice it tivo let you play most any video format file from the network. Instead you have to play tivo files and they have to xfer over. But Tivo is getting better.

Nice. I'm trying to figure out how to DO a damn podcast for my new radio-show thingie I'm trying to put together. I've tried using Shoutcast to no avail yet.

shoutcast != podcast.

shoutcast = streaming media server.
podcast = rss feed (xml file) updated with a static link to the newest show/episode.

I'm sure you can dig up everything you need to set up a podcast by hunting around online.
