I was told this was being recorded for a live CD?

I'm going to yell rediculous shit inbetween songs...

If anyone is interested, Here is the setlist from the Providence show (I nabbed Fowley's setlist sheet)

1 Sick Thrash
2 Night of the Deceased
3 The Mausoleum
4 Haunted cerebellum
5 Craving Illness
6 The Prmonition
7 Robotic Village
8 A Witness To Suspiria
9 Fading Survival
10 World Peace (cromags cover)
11 The Eliminator (agnostic front cover)
12 The Funeral Parlor's Secret
13 It's Alive
14 Doomed by the Living Dead (mercyful fate)
15 Fearless Undead Machines

I don't know if the set will be the same tonight, but you've got a few hours to bone up on lyrics for the live recording.

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at Jun 3,2006 4:49pm
From what Joe told me, tonight will indeed be the same set.

toggletoggle post by demondave at Jun 3,2006 4:50pm

toggletoggle post by eddie  at Jun 3,2006 10:08pm
fuck fuck FUCK!!!!

i can't go....

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 3,2006 11:09pm
people not here are lame.

the bludeoning: they all had much better gear this time. It all looked so new and shiney. Made them sound so much better. As the set went on, I liked the songs more and more, especially the song right before the last cover song (tank? Cover). the only issue was the guitar cutting out in the 3rd to last song. It kept fuzzing out a little and then when they would go to fix it, it would come back in. The sound guy stood back there for a while, but it maagically fixed itself.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 3,2006 11:10pm
Godless Rising: excellent set. There were very few times that I noticed mike not being able to hear the music during their set. When he was setting up his drums, he thumped away on those triggers so fast that it gave me heart plapitations. GR isn't the sort of music that uses blasts so his leukorrhea speediness isn't used in this band. what is necessary is keeping pace with the guitar riffs and not speeding off. "back in the day" this would probably have been considered really fast metal, but in our modern day where it's all about speed over quality and precision, they are medium pace. Everything works together from the blasphemous vocals, the churning guitars, wailing riffs, and the drums. The crowd at the front of the stage were happily head banging and fist pumping along to their hatred and anti-christiandom and pretending that this was still a time where headbangers ball was a good show and Death could play a tiny closet on the boardwalk.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 3,2006 11:29pm
abhorred: the sounded really good on that stage and it's cool that john no longer hides back by the when he's on a stage. maybe it's cause his hair is long now so he cause hide behind that. Oddly, now eric seems to hide in the background. Either that or he's allergic to flashes. This is basically the same set as the obriens show so my opinions are the same if you want to check that review. They are definitly playing faster than before.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 4,2006 12:31am
deceased: I think it's been over 4 years since I've seen these guys. Atleast. I caught a little bit of their set MMF 2002. They played much better than I remember. Last time, king was on drums while singing and it left sort of a hole in the front. The other guys just stood around the stage and played. this time was much, much better. King ran around the stage, putting the mic in for people to sing along, and basically acting silly (zombie march!). the crowd actually started moshing around when they played a cromags cover. Dwyer was right up front on the mic for that and the agnotic front cover (guess he'l be on the CD). Yeah, I did take a lot of picks. Joe wanted them for the CD. They ended the set with king putting on a zombie mask and walking around like a zombie.

Reverend - Doesn't Nikon make a two man lumberjack sawblade extention? Wouldn't that improve your photography?

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 4,2006 3:02am

toggletoggle post by demondave at Jun 4,2006 3:06am

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 4,2006 3:34am

Did all the bands get recorded or just them?

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Jun 4,2006 11:10am
I think Abhorred and Watchmaker did recordings, not sure about Godless Rising or The Bludgeoning

Man...I dont think we could have possibly sounded worse last time you saw us. I know we had small amps and all but id like to assume we were at least a little more in tune. glad you started to like the songs though. I think other folks might too eventually if we play them better.
