what do you use to see the frequency you are broadcasting on? I have frequency counter (FC-1). it shows the range for my radio station perfectly, but when I try to get it to show 455MHz, it shows nothing.

the unit has an antenna that I move from the 50omh to the 100omh plugs hoping that will do it, but it does nothing.
I have 3 450-455Mhz range that I need to see if they are tuned (or even broadcasting)

some freq counters will only go up so far. most VHF ones will only reach 200-300 mhz. i just guess it for the most part. i have one freq counter, but its made for CB/shortwave and only covers 1.8-30 mhz. what you need is one for UHF

my counter goes from something like 50Khz to 1GHz

is it direct connect or does it have an antenna which picks up the waves within proximity?
