So far 2006 has sucked balls for new Metal albums.Theres only 3 good ones that Ive bought this year.They are Terror 2000-Terror for sale,Cannibal Corpse-KILL and Torture Killer-Swarm.Im looking forward to next month though.Slayer,Deicide and Terrorizer all got new ones coming out.Heres some sucky albums for 2006:

i think it has been a pretty good year so far: voivod, daylight dies, amorphis, enslaved, vreid, strapping young lad, devin townsend band, korpiklaani, madder mortem, ihsahn, satyricon, new albums on the way from motorhead, iron maiden, sigh, agalloch, and that's just off the top of my head. i know there's been more good stuff this year and more coming out.

At least we can all be unified in the knowledge that the Venom album is terrible.

Enslaved's Ruun is great. Satyricon is pretty good as well. Darkthrone is fine nothing great nothing bad. Everything else for me has been pretty weak, dissapointing year. can't wait for the new Gorgoroth and Carpathian Forest, heard Gorgoroth is a killer

The new Glass Casket kicks ass. The new Full Blown is good. All That Remains, SYL, Peeping Tom, And the new Sadus all kick a lot of ass.

yeah what a terrible year for metal. Chris Barnes only recorded and released ONE album. I dunno about the rest of you but I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the next Graveyard Classics cd.

Agalloch, Drudkh, Spawn of Possession, Psycroptic, Gorod, Anata, Summoning, Jesu, and Scar Symmetry all had good releases this year by my count...
I was a bit dissapointed with Enslaved and Zyklon though.
