The actual story behind the Black Daliah is crazy.
Id like to see how they incorporate it in the flick.


Also, the Departed looks like a possible decent flick. Scorsese is usually pretty consistent.

i checked out some sites for it. To learn about what actually happened, b/c i was interested in the movie also.. Was not expecting to see what i found.. very gory and real pictures of her cut in half and her face all torn up.. made me sick to my stomach.. can't imagine they'd show that much in detail as to what actually happened.

Well, not only that, but the whole story about her murder being unsolved, and investigated by a certain police investigator, that had a son. Years later, he dies, and his son is now a police investigator.
He starts to look into the case, gets obsessed with it, and years into it, he finds, hidden in his fathers belongings, a picture of Daliah. Alive. With his father.

He is now 100% sure that his father was her murderer.

James Ellroy kicks unprecedented amounts of ass!! "A smile from ear to ear."

I've been VERY interested in this flick since I heard about it being made. The Black Dahlia Murder case is still one of the most nortorious and strange cases in American history

yes, thats the whole intersting thing about the murder.

im not sure if you guys know but the black dahlia orginated out of Medford, Massachusetts. Basically she slept with all kinds of city officals and such and thats when she moved out to California and thats when she was cut in half.

There is a monument in Medford Square in her memory, it sucks they do not involve anything with Massachusetts in the film.

I just saw the movie and I was sooo disapointed. I thought this movie was about Beth Short not some made up cop with all his weird issues,On and on about his thing for his partners wife and their thing, fire n Ice.It has some stuff here and there about Beth Short, but there inbetween his life.They did have a possible thing that happened to her towards the end of the movie, but off, wasnt she was last seen at that hotel? I dont care about a made up cop and his flings. Boring!!!! Didnt like the movie at all.

That was ten dollars and two hours I will never get back. Perhaps the worst movie I have ever seen.

I had a VERY strong dislike for this movie.

aside from the half a second of them showing the body, this movie was a 2 hour soap opera.

I would probably rather watch the black dahliua murder open umbrellas in eachothers' asses than see this movie again.
