i just picked up a ds the other day on an impulse, and got this game. its really addictive. does anyone else play it? i needs me some friends on my list.

I don't play this game, nor the Gamecube version, but I bought them for my girlfriend and she was obsessed with them for awhile until I got her into WoW.

isn't it about being an animal and living in a house and talking to other animals? like the sims or something?

I just love the game because it's very similar to another I played (Dark Age of Camelot), and fills in that void where there really aren't too many great console games I want to play right now. Plus I play with a lot of old friends, some of which started up again after I signed up, just so we can play together.

I can't really get into it because I'd rather go fishing in WoW, or blacksmithing, leatherworking, skinning corpses, hunting the undead, etc. But it's all the same thing with a different coat of paint.

You can get the original for Gamecube now for like...$10. The DS version is preferred by most though so you can do the wi-fi hookups with anyone, anywhere, and not have to swap memory cards within your limited circle of friends.
