I was riding down I-84 near Vernon and the biggest cat I've ever seen shot across the highway, moving about as fast as any animal could possibly move. If I'd been going a little bit faster, I might have collided with it.

They have tons of huge cats there, and falcons, hawks and owls, and some snakes.

RDB is wrong.

" Mountain Lions - Geographic Range
Historically, Mountain Lions have had the most extensive distribution of all American terrestrial mammals. They could be found from coast to coast in North America, and from southern Argentina and Chile to southeastern Alaska.
"

last time I checked, CT was with in this hemisphere.
