I think it is retarded how the media and people bitch about the number of soldiers we've lost over the last three years in Iraq. What people forget is we lost 600,000 soldiers in just ONE battle over the course of a month in the battle of the bulge during WW2. Most of the American casualties occurred within the first three days of battle. It sucks about any loss of life over there but it is war. Figure it out. The PC media just reports every single american soldiers; death to discredit the current administration that everyone seems to hate. I am not big on GW but get the fuck over yourselves. Oh yeah, and fuck Kerry. If he becomes president I guarantee we would be attacked again here in the USA as the terrorists know he is a scumfuck pacifist.

I think the 600,000 dead in the battle of the bulge is a much lesser tragedy than 3000 dead in iraq (plus scores of thousands of iraqis) since atleast the 600,000 died for a reason.

This war is too short-sighted. We should be invading Russia, or China, or someone else who will put up a good fight.

medical care in battle is much more advanced then it was in wwII, many of the 600k would have been saved if the technology was there to bring people to medics quickly on site then bring them to a military hospital. i was reading an article the other day, ill try to find it and post it, it was saying how this war is creating more amputees then past wars because instead of dying on the field, soldiers are getting treatments. its def a good thing more people are survivng, but its a hard road when you have to deal with a loss of a limb after serving.
