WCYY SCREWED MAINE METAL SCENE PRESENTS. WE WERE PLANNING ON HAVING A SHOW WITH FULL BLOWN CHAOS AT THE BIG EASY ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8TH. WCYY CAME IN AND THREW OUR SHOW OUT FOR A BUNCH OF LOCAL EMO BANDS PLAYING A HOLIDAY BIZARRE.

IT'S LIKE CANCELING THE SUPERBOWL FOR A HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAME. MIKE AND I HAVE TRIED VERY HARD TO WORK THINGS OUT WITH THE RADIO STATION. WE EVEN OFFERED TO MAKE THE FULL BLOWN CHAOS SHOW THE WCYY HOLIDAY BAZARR, (WITH MAINE METAL SCENE PAYING FOR EVERYTHING... ADVERTISING, THE HEADLINING BAND, ETC) BUT THEY HAD NO SYMPATHY. IN SHORT, OUR TICKETS WENT ON SALE FOR FULL BLOWN CHAOS ON SEPTEMBER 15TH AND WCYY TICKETS WENT ON SALE ON NOVEMBER 3RD. WE HAD OUR SHOW BOOKED FIRST.

WCYY DOESN'T LIKE MAINE METAL SCENE PRESENTS BECAUSE WE BRING METAL BANDS TO MAINE... BANDS THAT ARE NOT ON THEIR PLAYLIST!!! THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE. METAL WON'T DIE AND THE SHOW WON'T BE CANCELED! FUNNY HOW MAINE METAL SCENE PRESENTS BUYS MEDIA ON WTOS AND THE BONE BECAUSE THEY PLAY HEAVIER MUSIC...HMMMM? MAYBE THEIR PISSED, BECAUSE WE DON'T GIVE WCYY A MEDIA BUY?

THE SHOW HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE KAVE IN BUCKSPORT FOR THE SAME NIGHT. FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8TH AND THIS TIME, IT'S ALL AGES!!! NOTHING WILL KILL METAL, NOT EVEN A BIG RADIO STATION UP AGAINST SMALL FOLKS LIKE US TRYING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE METAL SCENE. SPECIAL THANKS TO THE KAVE IN BUCKSPORT!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to add that I am a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and The Daughters of The Union Veterans Of The Civil War.
