A man becomes obsessed with a book that appears to be based on his life but ends with a murder that has yet to happen in real life.

I read the premise for this movie awhile ago, and I've always loved Carrey's more serious work. The only downside I can see to this movie is that Joel Schumacher is directing. Even though he did direct one of my favorite movies (Falling Down), he also directed one of the worst movies ever made (Batman & Robin).

haha, when I looked up to see who posted this I instantly started laughing out loud at work when I randomly remembered the scene outside of The Skybar a couple weeks ago when Jeff Horror ran up to you, grabbed/hugged you, and started shaking you. Then, after a few seconds you yelled "oh I'm gonna cum!" before he dropped you.

I would like to see a serious Jim Carrey movie. I've always liked him and I think he's an all around good actor.

It's Joel Schumacher's 23rd film too.
