My brother is in Valley Street for quite a while. Don't know how long or what he did, all I know is that he's been getting into a lot of trouble lately and this is his last stand.

I need a fundraiser show and soon to at least try to bail him out or something.

Anyone have any ideas?

Just look for a VFW or venue that would be willing to let you book this and bands will come to you by the hundreds wanting to play.

I'm pretty sure that's what it is, but I'm not 100% on that. I'm waiting for my parents to talk to him so that I know. Me talking to him at this point about that kind of shit would just be kinda akward.

Word. My brother overdosed on heroine and I had a hard time talking to him about it for over a year. it's still wierd to bring up.

He's been addicted to a lot of things, which explains the whole rehab situation. Though, when he got out, he no longer did the drugs but he kept dealing with them after being told that he's facing 3-5 years in prison, and just a few weeks ago the lawyer bet himself $20,000 that he is not gonna win this case.

So basically, it would cost my parents another $20,000 to do nothing but end up losing the case, unless we go with a plea bargain, which is still a chance in jail time, but now that this happened I don't see any real way out of it.

Wow, I remember in high school when he brought up trying heroin out of nowhere and argued for 20 minutes that "it isn't actually addictive, it's just a big deal, but if you aren't addicted it could be okay and it's probably awesome." I hope he isn't in for something horrible.
As lame as I think drug use/dealing is, and as much as I want to say jail might teach him a lesson, I hope he doesn't this doesn't end up ruining his life. I thought he was a pretty decent guy before he disappeared.

As far as this show, I don't know shit about setting up shows where I would get any money, but I think having a basement show and charging a few dollars/asking for donations might be ideal because it's 100 percent profit.

what the fuck is up with little bros. my brother just got off the same thing. this is year after he's cleaned himself up. I would say instead of a befinit concert, send him a couple $35 money orders and then buy a photoprinter and some photo paper. start taking pictures of things and people and places and send them to him. when you do that it gives the whole block something to do.

Yeah, luckily he never tried heroin. He would have told me and bragged about it, and it would have followed with a slightly enlarged face on him.

As much as I hate the shit he's done and the way he's treated my family, he's still my brother, and I still wish I could do something about it.

Hell no. I used to do that shit and stopped on my own will. He knew and didn't care. I just didn't wanna end up like him. It's getting to the point where I wanna move out, get another job and be on my own and just not deal with the shit, but at the same time I just want to get him the fuck outta jail cuz I know he's not built for it.

My little brother is in Norfolk County Correctional right now. Apparently so are 9/10ths of my high school class mates.

Not trying to be mean..but...if you save his ass, when will he learn his lesson? I've rescued people before to only see them fall in the wrong holes again. Make him get scared straight, don't make yer parents spend their hard earned money
