menstrual tramps: so glad I came to see them. It's so rare to see a girl drumming, its just as rare to find a whole female band. They rock. Total throw back punk. The singer had pneumonia so the drummer did most of her parts. I hink their set is usually long when not sick.The one thing about the name is that the bassist had a baby.. Sort of puts the kaibosh on the whole "menstrual" thing.
Oh and the people who showed up after their set are all wicked lame. especially any "punk rock" grrrls. your loss, lame wads.

Proselyte: just take one look at the stage and you will know, they were loud. There was more equipment on that stage than all the other bands combined. It sounded really tight. Even though they were closer to tides/mogwai, the balls out rock sound totally fit with some of the noisier defcon 4 stuff. The drummer sang all except one brief part that sounded flying over london mogwai CD. for a band that hasn't been around very long, they came together and play like they've been together for a looong time. black box or a label like that should be all over them and if jonah (or tides) reads this, they should play with tides.

pissed I couldn't make it last night, I really wanted to see The Menstrual Tramps again, last time I saw them is when we played with them on their tour in early 06 I think.
