Sooo weird that my last show was here 1 week ago. I apologized to boring king of guy dudes for losing the huge review I wrote about them. Sucks. Any how, i'm back here so uh.. Yeah.

three cheers for trial separation: they started out with a huge noise thing with just the singer at the drummer (who was using a ton of pedals.) it was noise but honestly a little quiet. When they started up I was weirdness. Their music was more like a grindy version of slint mixed with nation of ulysses/the make up vocals. A lot of spazzy guitar parts. I think that they probably listened to the first daughter's 7" or something. The only problem was the drummer. Not during the fast blasts, during the slower parts. He seemed like he was hunting a lot.

Lord Bacon: interesting mix. The beginning of their set reminded me of the older stuff they rocked down with in death among thieves. The band is most of the DAT members and mike from putrescine on vocals for a couple of the track. For those who live uninformed, all these dudes are also in putrescine. Really cool in that disrhythmia sort of way. The guitar player was playing tons of tapping things. But with my early morning this morning and not a lot of movement, I couldn't appreciate it to my fullest.

if in life, the: josh tried to get into every single one of my shots. So the whole new no moshing rule at the DBH put both the brakes and the hillarity into their set. People got pulled out when they started to mosh. Basically, the bro mosh turned into a no mosh. A lot of homoeroticism going on in the crowd and people dancing all muppet silly. The separation dudes were all about the silly mosh too. Since there was a lot going on, I snapped a bunch of pictures. Im lovin the strobe light. They sounded a lot tighter. Less every time I die, more botch I think.
