I've been listening to a lot of Drudkh lately and have burned many of their albums because I am a cheap-loser. But, I'd buy some of their shit if you had it because I like them so much and I'd support Pathos in even the most miniscule way if it's all I could do...What do you have by them? Any suggestions to anything that would compare even slightly to that?

BTW, how is it that you pronouce the name Drudkh? I read somewhere that it is pronounced "drew-kah"

hmmm, been pretty mellow lately. i've gotten a couple things here and there, but i'm mostly waiting for the new decrepit birth, and a few early 08 releases on sevared recs. but heres what i have picked up in the meantime:

year of no light - nord. on crucial blast. it's pretty awesome doom/sludge metal from bordeaux, france. for fans of isis, jesu, that kind of stuff.

xenophobia - reclaiming celtic glory. on pagan front. decent, atmospheric nsbm with heavy folk overtones. pretty raw, along the lines of xasthur & leviathan.

regicide - extreme intent fatal effect. suffocation worship from china, but the songs are well written and the productions good. really rare too so + some elitist points for me.

manegarm - vargstenen. fun folk metal, like finntroll but way heavier & more serious. so then i guess its more like a less brutal kroda? whatever, its good and folkish.

goreality - perverse depraved indifference. on pathos productions. this cd is fucking terrible. LOL J/K ZOMG. this is an awesome death metal, with great production. but everyone here knows that it is and that it would be. goreality doesnt disappoint.

creation is crucifixion - child as audience. i had this then it got stolen, and now i finally have a copy back again. amazing hyper-political luddite tech metal. if you dont know, you aint shit.

between the buried and me - colors. the art is fun, and the brutal parts are a huge nod to the silent circus. the cheesy parts are really embarrassing to be listening to when you pull into a parking lot or whatever. not sure how i feel about it right now.




but yeah. new decrepit birth, plus marco minneman & necrophagist = an amazing 3rd record, and im pretty stoked for the new plebeian grandstand (more artsy french metal).
