I have been playing for a little over an hour. It is pretty cheesy, but once you get past said cheesiness, it is a pretty decent racing game. GT3 was better, but too in depth. I put a good 50 hours of my life into that game and only got to 43%, and at that point each race was taking my 40+ minutes. This is much more simple.

I played grand tourismo 3 for a while.
pretty satisfying doing power slides.

Yeah, actually, powerslides are a big part of this game, as there are four types of races, circuit, sprint, drag, and drift, the the point of the last one to do the best powerslides to retrieve the most amount of points. Pretty fun. As soon as Conan is over I am gonna play again.

Holy shit, I don't usually get really mad over video games (I don't usually get really mad over anything) but everytime I sit down and play this game I end up getting really fucking pissed off. Some 3 lap races take me 45 minutes to complete because I need to keep restarting because I nailed a pillar under an overpass or head on'd a car in oncoming traffic going 130, which, of course, stops your car completely and turns you around, therefore putting you in last place about 10 seconds behind the other cars which completely fucks your chances of winning. That was a long sentence.

Since I started playing yesterday, I have probably put about 6 hours into this game. For some reason, instead of having a percentage of game completed, it tells you how much you have done out of 111. Right now I am at 21/111. I don't think it will take much longer then two more weeks to beat this game. Never know though.

it would be cool if this was like speed 2, but with a bus instead of a boat.

This is the first NFS I have ever played, so I don't really know what the hell you are talking about. No, nevermind, I have played 3. It was ok, nothing special.

you obviously don't hold the simpsons as a religion.

Simpson's?? Rev what the fuck are you talking about man!? Are you really tired or something? This is like the 3rd thread in 10 minutes where you have said something that completely doesn't make any sense at all.

my line above about speed 2 was from milhouse.
"this is like speed 2, but with a bus instead of a boat"
cause they were on a bus and speed 1 had a bus. speed 2 had a boat.
get it?

also, homer once said something like "this is like that movie, with that bus speeding around and that bus's speed couldn't go below 55. I think it was called 'the bus that couldn't slow down'"

Oh, I see. The problem actually isn't that I don't watch enough simpsons. It is that I have never seen Speed or Speed 2.

I've never seen either movie either.

Watch "Speed" if you enjoy watching a large piece of wood deliver poor lines poorly. It's interesting because usually wood can't speak.
Avoid "Speed 2" at all costs.

Ok, I am now 41/111, which is pretty good considering I started it Friday afternoon. Anyway, I am still liking it, but I hope I don't lose interest before I get 111/111. Races are starting to take longer, not because there are too many laps but I keep crashing and having to restart. I played from midnight to 1 beating two races. That makes me less than overjoyed.

I feel like if I play this game anymore my eyes will melt. So, I think I will go eat some breakfast then play this game.
