I'm trying to watch a movie on my PS2, but I'm an idiot and forgot what password I set to change the parental controls. I know someone will say that normal people would just do "0000" or "1234," etc., but I wasn't paying attention when I set it, so I lose.

The question: Does anyone know how to delete or reset the password without having to know the old one?

power on>reset>inset DVD R rated..(18 up only) when board comes up telling you parental control is on>hit select>it will say enter password>hit select>it will say delete password>enter in 7444>hit X

damn, beat me to it... just set your password to 0000 and you will never have that problem
