An Italian couple named their baby Venerdi meaning "Friday" after the servant in Robinson Crusoe (never read it). The court then decided that it was an unfair name for a baby, and would deprive it of a fair chance to have "serene interpersonal relationships."
As dumb as this is I wish to hell the supreme court would stop letting people name their kids Tevin, and Shaqwanda. |

Lakeisha, latoya, Lashasta, Yolanda, Tyrone, Tyrell, and Tyrese think you're a racist. |

I've actually heard this about Italy a number of times. They really, really want you to have a nice Italian name, there. |
|
what about celebrities... apple. are you kidding me |
|
parents need to give their kids a fighting chance. naming your male son Tristan or Chad is already starting them off face down. |
|
I'm Italian .. they were refusing to baptize me because my parents didn't name me after a saint and my name wasn't in the bible
then my dad told them where to go...and i was baptized...i know my dad was arguing with a nun over my name....funny side story the priest who baptized me..was drunk...and arrived at the ceremony a couple of hours late
i <3 being Italian |

I think Apple's sort of a nice name. There are way crazier names anyway; Jason Lee named his kid Pilot Inspektor. |
|
im naming my kid Magnus, Marius, Odin, Ra, Osiris, Bacchus, Zeus, or Balrog... there will be no female kin being birthed from my chosen baby oven. |
|
Yeah, the ideal name for a kid would be something intimidating, like Ragnar or Hakon or Skallagrim. An intimidating name helps people in business dealings. |
