Now as for my comment about Slipknot's last album, it's metal, simple as that. it's not some rap-metal bullshit like limp bizkit is all i was saying. yes, i listen to all those non-metal bands i listed, and i don't care what you think about that. we all have at least one band or artist that we like but are afraid to admit it because it's outside of the usual genre we listen to. for all i know you're a die hard madonna fan, but u know what? who gives a shit if u did?

Slipknots new stuff blows donkey nuts, but i have to agree, there are some really good songs off of the first album. like the song Diluted. that one is awesome.

for a minute i read that post up there as i shaft to say (cuz who the fuck spells have as haft) and i pictured a talking penis in a slipknot shirt, which i guess isnt too off base.

Incubus - ive liked them for a long time. Their newest sucked but I liked everything else.
A Perfect Circle - which might not be such a bad thing if there are some TOOL fans here.
Slipknot is a guilty pleasure for me as well though. I'm never going to see theyre 'as metal as it gets' thats just fucking ignorant. I dont even listen to them much, but enjoy hearing them now and again.
I still love System of a Down's first album - the rest kind of sucks.
My girlfriend made me listen to John Mayer, and I dont know any of his music, but he's good on guitar and has an incredible voice.

when i was younger, i liked that album s.c.i.e.n.c.e by incubus. i dont know what id think about it now. there are exactly 2 a perfect circle songs that i think are awesome.

i like all different kinds of music, im not really embaressed about any of it. i have a massive collection of new wave/goth/industrial stuff. for a long time the only music i would listen to was world serphant related. i also really like prince, alot.

I guess my only guilty pleasures would me that I own Coheed's second album and really like it, and also I love Carole King's Tapestry album. I don't own it but I've heard it so much from my mom listening to it in the car when I was younger and such. I can justify each, although I don't need to. In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3 is an awesome album, a really good revival of older prog rock. The songs are written very well, I like the singing no matter what anyone says (he doesn't sound that much like Geddy Lee guys), and the drummer is awesome and ties together the tight sound of the band. And Tapestry is just a really fine piece of simple but delicate song writing.
