I heard the Staind uncut edition has an additional four hundred pages wherein the protagonist drives his black F-150 with the sic tribal detailing really fast down 93 and cries over his girlfriend, Becky the Applebee's waitress, dumping him. NO MORE FUGGIN FREE MAGARITAS KID!!!! WAHHHHHHHHH

yeah i read this over the summer, it has like 4-500 extra pages. i've never read the original, so i have no idea what was added. its a great fucking story, he is one of the only authors that can write a 1500 page book and have it not be boring.

Seriously, the original (shorter) version isn't even worth reading IMO. There are so many important parts left out that tie the story together. Plus, the uncut version has a better ending.

i read that in 11th grade in in-school suspension. what a long year...

the stand is coming to comic form in September

I was, I think, 8 or 10 years old when i read the stand, so I think it's about time to pick this up and enjoy all the things I couldn't understand then.

my dad gave me the 1st press uncut version years ago its not new.... it sucks so many people read the short version not knowing any better. i saw him at a truck stop and thought about walking up and punching him in the face just so i could read peoples reaction on the internet but i decided i would save that for someone that sucks because he is too cool for that. oh well.

i just restarted The Dark Tower series 2 weeks ago, Roland of Gilead is the most badass character ever conceived. i'm on The Wastelands now.

also I just finished 'Cell'

the beginning is really cool, it's like a sudden zombie holocaust right in Boston Common during the first ten pages.

I thought the ending was kinda cheesy though.
