i read that Saturn and the star Regulus will be visible on either side of the moon, and those with a telescope will be able to see the rings. i really, really hope it doesn't cloud up tonight. well, the only thing i hope that clouds up is my living room.

I got to check out Saturn's rings a year or so ago with my school's badass telescope, it's the coolest fucking thing.

i have to wait until 3 AM and it's perpetually cloudy here so I don't think i'll be seeing this. poop.

I heard about this a week or two ago and have been looking forward to it since. I thought about it earlier and was so glad that I remembered that I programmed an alert reminder in my phone so that I don't forget to check it out. I'm psyched that I can check it out from my room 'cause I got 3 skylight windows that the moon passes by each night.

I just saw a huge shooting star over lexington. that was awesome.

Definitely. I actually forgot about it and then saw it when I stumbled outside with the dogs around 10pm. I was stoned and had already consumed a bottle of red wine, so that added to the awesomeness.
