Slayer show fall through?

Nah, the Slayer show was never planned for March. It will probably be in May. It is definitely happening, the date just isn't 100% set yet.

I think the guy Mucko has a better aproach, if he thinks we suck, that's fine, honestly, ( I never expected everyone to dig on what I am doing musically, and never would) I checked his music out and indeed I think it's not for me (key way to say you don't like something without being a prick IMHO), but I don't even think sucks is the right word. If we were horrible musicians and couldn't play our instruments, fine say we suck. but you won't see me make a personal attack on his appearance, or be a cock, unless of course it is thrown my way first. A great example is Elton John, his music isn't for me by a long shot, but I could never say he sucks, he is an amazing musician.

What get's me is the attacks on people from our own scene, seriously, wtf? If everyone worked together in this scene, we (NE) could own the world, seriously!

Another thing is this, This scene is not big enough to sling shit around without it coming back around. (do a search for your band name and all the shit comes up good or bad, you just can't get away with saying anything on the internet without it coming back, that's why people should think before they trpe something. It's just a matter of time before someone get's hurt) ) I am no internet tough guy, I try to show respect where it is due and be a nice guy. But, if people want to talk shit, I am prepared to put my money where my mouth is. Yet another reason I won't talk shit if I haven't been antagonized.

This is one of the reasons that I stopped posting here very often, I used to be an every day regular. I am just so sick of the bullshit. I have a lot of people on here that I concider friends and would like to chat with, but the fucking hard guy-ed-ness is just not worth my time.

Does anyone remember the guy who was being a total idiot in the pit?

He started talking to some of my friends and me after the show. The guy kept trying to invite himself to whatever we were doing after the show, but since no one knew him, and he was being a testosterone-fueled neanderthal and throwing chairs outside of Ralph's, no one wanted to hang out with him.

We tried to ditch him, but he took it upon himself to follow us in his car, all the way to IHOP... totally hammered AND still drinking a beer. Unfortunately, IHOP was closed. One of my friends immediately pulled out of the parking lot once he realized that this guy had followed us there, parked next to one of our friends, and was getting out of his car. He walked over to my friend's car with a beer in his hand to ask what was going on... like anyone had actually invited him.

Within less than a minute, cops showed up and arrested the guy. The whole situation was hilarious. They laid him out spread eagle and put him in handcuffs... right on the trunk of my car, giving me the perfect view of his arrest from my rear view mirror. Since the guy had no clue what any of our names were, and none of us knew him, we were allowed to leave without any issues. I think it was the most hilarious post-Metal Thursday event ever!
