the CW supreme is and Cw7-layer was amazing. the Queso CW sucks. there is nothing to it. their hot cheese sauce is the worst.

Their seven-layers have always been their best products.

However, why would you go to Taco Bell when there's Taco Cabana?

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 25,2008 9:17am
Taco Cabana open til 3am? no.
Taco Cabana with in 1500 miles of me? no.

did you have a 7-layer crunch wrap? amazing.

I know your refusal to eat anything that used to have a face limits your food options, but dude -- you need to stop eating fast food shit.

Agreed. I can't stress my contempt for taco smell. Pure garbage.

the only fast food I really eat is TB. hard to get some 80 year old indian lady to open up her shop at midnight.

Understood -- by the way, you and the woman ever eat here:

I brought the wife there a few weeks ago and it was awesome. Way better than Siam Orchid in Concord.

Um, they're open all night... but the 1500 miles thing is a kicker. You don't have TKs on the east coast? Tragedy.

I did indeed sample said confection of fastmex delight. There is a TB about four miles from here that is the best I've ever been at: clean, fast, and generous in portions.

When that midnight urge strikes... and you really want to fart up the morning... nothing satisfies.

My other favorite late night mexhaunt is a TK within sight of a police department substation. You can sip Dr Pepper, eat hordes of mexitasties, and watch the cops roar off into the oily night in pursuit of various failures, criminals, perverts etc that they bring back and beat senseless in the parking lot.

I still think TB and TC don't compare to real mexican food - TexMex too.
When I lived in MN there was a place called "Taco John's." Place sucked.

so, I got a funny Taco Bell experience. I had just had a falling out with the girl I was seeing(see: that thread about anal sex) and was pretty bummed about it so I decided to drink heavily. I began messing shit up in my friend's apartment and I remember people being unhappy with me.
I sat down on the couch and zoned out. The next thing I knew someone was yelling at me. I focused and realized I was at the counter in the Taco Bell on Comm. Ave by UMASS and there was some asian lady screaming at me from behind the register. The situation is also funny because my friend's apartment was a good 30 minute walk from that Taco Bell and I still don't remember how I got there.
I remember looking at her and asking what her problem was.
All she said was "You pay! You pay!"
Before me was a giant bag FILLED with food. I yelled about how I didn't order it(when clearly I did), she screamed that I pay.
I took out 2 tacos and threw a 5 dollar bill at her then stormed out. I called my friend all distressed and she called me a cab. While sitting on the sidewalk, leaning against the door of the taco bell, I finished my purchase and proceeded to throw them up all over the glass as my sister from another mother continued to yell at me about how I was blocking the door.

Funny thing is, I don't eat fast food. Ever.

Chiangmai is where carina and I went for one of our first dates. great place. the owners just take too many month long vacations. Their golden puffs are great.

there is place on the other side of the town called thai paradise that carina and I go to more cause it's a lot more simpler food. If you were in ptown, why not call and see if carina and I could swing with you?

Haha -- I was actually thinking about calling you, but I lost your number awhile ago -- email me your celly when you get a chance. That was a day when I did a trip up to the new Cabela's in Maine. To make it up to the wife for actually having to go to Cabela's, I brought her out to lunch on the way (Chiangmai) and dinner on the way back (Muddy River). Well, OK Muddy River was actually a present to myself.

and by present, you mean shitting out burning cancer at 6am. why wouldn't she want to go to cabelas? I thought they were all trendy now with girl boots and stuff. is the new cabelas in freeport? Funny, I can't stand shopping.

Besides a couple of foul farts, the BBQ set quite well -- then again, I take fiber supplements every day.

Yeah, they have some girl shit there -- I bought her some UnderArmor stuff (most overpriced brand ever).

The new Cabela's is in Scarborough -- probably a 35 minute ride for you. Shopping is gayer than AIDS, but sometimes you have to do it. Plus, that store is just an over-the-top spectacle.

damn you bastards are making me want mexican food for lunch.
i already started a "best chinese food in boston" thread, don't make me start a Mexican one.

Scarborough Country. who the f would put something in that shitty town. On and girls love that underarmor/bergaline cheese. when I were that, I sweat and it pulls my stink to the outside of the shirt. works worse when worn as an over shirt.

I assume the decision was made by a board of tie-wearing blow-hards at Cabela's corporate. They are probably trying to place something right between KTP and LL Bean and take all that business. Plus, they probably got a sweet deal from the town of Scarborough -- that creates a shitload of jobs for alot of toothless wonders.
