Hey Everyone, I'm writing this to anyone that might be interested in assisting me in getting Skinless to the Bombshelter in early April? I had the show all booked and then the venue backed out on me and I can't find any other place in VT so I'm just wondering if the Bombshelter might be a good place for this show? If anyone can help me out that would be very cool.

I liked the first 2 cds.
the 3rd is a good death metal cd, but not a good skinless cd.

Their live show is pretty awesome still, but I doubt that people would go to the bombshelter as people suck. I'm totally disillusioned from people now a days... metal people especially.
not the people on this board.. just all the others that don't go to shows.

Yeah, this really sucks, if this show could happen in Central VT as originally planned we'd have a ton of kids out for it. Too bad the Bombshelter's weak! Do they even promote their shows at all? I'd hate to have to deal with them on this show but I'm running out of options.

They sure do have potential. My cousin lives in Portsmouth and spends a lot of time in Manchester and he was at the 5 Minutes Hate show there and had no clue the place even existed.

skinless is bad ass pretty much with or without john on drums. the first two cd's swing hard, but the third is a bit of a stretch. it takes a couple of listens to get used to it.

old skinless was good. the demos and progression towards evil

boring as hell. i like one song off progression towards evil. there are countless better metal bands, skinless is completely overrated.
but i havnt heard the new one, my friend has it though and says its lame. nu metal parts, singing and chuga breakdowns or something.

I don't think they're amazing or anything, but I do find them very entertaining; relatively simple, but fun. I too have not heard the latest album yet.

I used to like them ,i don't think i actually own an album,but i got a couple demo's from way back when, And I had them on a Compilation i did a few years ago ,I dunno, i don't think they would draw at the bombshelter,it would be the same 30-40 kids as the past few death metal shows there,and they were better shows,anyways good luck with that, I don't think serge will go for it,specially if they ask for a lot of cash,like i heard they do.

2nd Skinless album: One of my all time favorite cds.
3rd Skinless album: dissapointing

i still like them. i think they can still kick ass now that Longstreth is gone. he's an amazing drummer but not the type that Skinless needs

overrated shitty band, they have put on good live shows though!

I think I got this taken care of back up here in VT. What a feasco! I also was working with another venue on a seperate show with a couple relapse bands and my band got screwed out of that deal after all was said and done. It's been a shitty week but it's starting to shape up!
