I was soo excited when I heard they were gonna make a remake. I thought, wow, with CGI you can take real chimps, gorillas, and orangutans, and just make their mouths move in sync with the voice actors'. Instead of all apes with human builds, we could see what the original intended. But no. The faggoty Marky Mark remake kept them as humanlike. Major disappointment. Still bugs me a ton when I think about it. Maybe some zoo with a lot of apes could take the sound from the original and refilm it.
