NEW RULES

1. You must mention Korn every time you mention Slayer. Otherwise, Korn is oppressed.

2. If your metal band makes money, we want 10% for Korn.

3. The metal bands that are really good -- Slayer, Deicide, all those fags -- they need to pay even more to make sure Korn is not ignored.

4. Korn is equal to your band, even if you aren't playing monkey rock for 14 year old zitfaced angst pustules.

5. It's now more important to Korn, because they are oppressed, than it is to be as good as Slayer.

Ah, my good man...

When you find ignorance in the world, you fight it. Everywhere.

Otherwise you let other people's delusions roll over your knowledge.

When underground metal was vital -- compared to now, when it basically blows ass -- there was less tolerance for Crowdist views.

I'm simply counteracting that, like rain following a hot day ;)

yeah... you're like rain on a hot day. Yeah.

I don't let other people's anything roll over my anything.

So you're finding a lot of ignorance here, and you're fighting it with all your knowledge. Wow thanks! Your posts always leave me feeling like I'm being talked down to. Kind of like the Dems make me feel whenever they try to 'enlighten' us ignorant folk. Ah, Irony.

and screw you Hoser, you don't know me.

One man's ignorance is another man's enlightenment. You think we're stupid and we think the same of you. So really, who gives a shit?

does anyone else find Conservationist attempting to school Wargasm about "when underground metal was vital" absolutely hilarious?

Hey Bill Hicks, i'm gonna tell ya about comedy. listen up, maybe you'll learn something...

That may be your fault, not mine.

I find your assumption of the reverse to be kind of smug too, you know?

The whole "we know what's best, so we don't want to hear you talk, and we can't just ignore it" -- Why?

Because you're not so certain of those beliefs, are you? ;)

After reading your stuff for almost 4 years, I find that I actually agree with you politically, I think (you can get kinda obtuse). So it's not about you 'rocking my belief system' or anything like that, don't flatter yourself.

>>The whole "we know what's best, so we don't want to hear you talk, and we can't just ignore it" -- Why?>>

You answered your own question when you outed yourself a few posts back as our self-appointed appointed saviour; an elitist snob who feels it's his duty to educate us ignorant types.

If you read my initial response a bit more carefully, you'll see that my 'WE'RE ALL SET' comment was aimed at your smug, pseudo-intellectual approach and condescending tone, not at you, your politics & ideas, or your desire to share your opinions.

We have two options here:

(a) the posts are 'pompous'
(b) the reader was too sensitive

It could be that (b) is the result of living in an egalitarian society for too long. It could also be digital communication fatigue. At least in person, I am not told these things.

Further, "pseudo-intellectual" is an internet meme of no value. Ick.

also...

Conservationist - Pronunciation [kon-ser-vey-shuh-nist] Show IPA Pronunciation

–noun
1) a person who advocates or promotes conservation, esp. of natural resources.
2) someone who works to protect the environment from destruction or pollution

I'm curious as to why you chose your username. None of your posts promote this ideology.

Try the blog:

http://penetrate.blogspot.com/

But in a nutshell:

Crowdism obliterates the ability to restrain humanity from creating environmental problems through demographic size.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Oct 27,2008 3:08pm
what exactly is crowdism

toggletoggle post by xanonymousx at Oct 27,2008 3:24pm
its on.

toggletoggle post by ThirdKnuckle  at Oct 27,2008 3:26pm
That's some nutshell.

Anyway, maybe you nailed it with the 'digital communication fatigue' thing. I'd like to think that if we were speaking in person, it would have gone a little better than it did here.

I just hope I'd be able to keep up with all your big words and fancy talkin'

We don't take kindly to that fancy pants liberal talkin' mumbo-jumbo round here. A man's problem his own fault, none of them blamin' his ills on others bullcrap fly well in this neighborhood.

Crowdism

Sorry, was too lazy to post the URL the first time.

Is the big words thing really that bad? I always saw it as an investment of faith in my brains when others would use their new words around me.

But I am a word geek. It's how the gods made me.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Oct 27,2008 4:30pm edited Oct 27,2008 4:34pm
i looked up the word "crowdism" in the dictionary and could not find a meaning. that is why i asked.

luckily... "anus.com" says its legit.

real punks would vote for mccain so they have something to bitch about

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Oct 28,2008 3:11am
ha! I said something similar that metalheads would vote for mccain/bush so that they could write songs about nuclear war. look at the raise of thrash under regan/bush(es).

and true conservationists would say thanks but no thanks. God Bless. Jesus Saves.
