I'm generally satisfied with every release they've put out (old and new), except this one. been a fan of the band for years, and Catch 22 is still collecting dust. I don't think I've listened to it since the day it came out.

They just re-released it a month or two ago with redubbed vocals. I don't know if they were trying to make it better or something, but destroying the entire thing would have been a better route.

I like this album, of course you can't compare it to Penetralia

how do you like it??
it's like they were trying to emulate the american nu-metal scene

It kinda reminds me of Abducted and The Final Chapter

How in the hell can Catch 22 remind you of 2 of the best Hypocrisy albums?!?! I just don't hear it, haha.

I liked that album, but I'm glad he stuck with Pain for that sort of stuff afterward.

Speaking of Hypocrisy, my old band was in NJ for their "Metal and Hardcore Fest" and I was chilling in a hotel room with my guitarist some of the staff members. They had brought back over 4 dozen donuts to the room from the fest and being on the 34th floor, we decided to share the donuts with the people below us.
We're whipping donuts at these guys with long hair while they're shouting at us, fists raised. All of the sudden, Scott Lee walks into the room. The guys who worked for him figured they were as good as fired when he peered out the window to see where all these donuts were going. He then proceeds to start throwing the donuts himself!
The guys who were are main targets all dashed for the side entrance, and moments later we hear angry shouting coming from the hallway(they must have counted the floors).
Scott goes outside to see what all the hub-bub was about, and came back in laughing saying we were throwing donuts at Hypocrisy and he told them he'd help them catch the donut bandits.

What? The best Hypocrisy albums are Penetralia and Osculum Obscenum.

We did something similar at the Milwaukee metalfest one year, except it was beer bottles not donuts and it was the Milwaukee PD, not Scott Lee.

Another Hypocrisy story:

when they played the palladium in 2002ish or whenever, I saw Peter walking around outside. He had some luggage and shit and was about to go on the bus. I had a beer in my jacket, and yelled "Peter! I've got something for you." As I was reaching to grab the beer in my inside jacket pocket, Peter flinched a little, as if he thought I was to pull a gun. He was slightly relieved to find out it was a beer I was offering.
