it's over by 11 and they are the headline so probably 10-ish. there are already plenty of people here and doors just opened. given the vacation and temp I doubt this show will sell out. but it's going to do pretty damn fine. everyone should come. well, everyone except rich horror. I want no rich horors here. |

bi anal ham sandwich: hilarious, get this guy to play every show. He started off with a song making fun of singing along. Then did a cover of mr t's mother. The band was one dude with a laptop and a guitar.
no richhorrors thus far. looks like this show is in the clear. |

reason to fight: when I saw these guys listed, I knew there was no way I would miss this show. They even ended with a cro-mags cover. It was cool... Even though I did just see the real cro-mags jam do that song a few weeks ago. They got the crowd moving and everyone was singing along. Watching them made me want wisdon in chains to play this show. Oh well. |

Ashers: one guitarist looked like a misfits dude, the other looked like thomas lindberg. They played punkish hadcore. I was expecing a little more theash in the sound, but they had some noise-instrumental parts that were pretty cool. They did a bad brains cover and another cover that I didn't know. The shining point of the set was the massive kick drum. The booming loud drums seemed over sized and looked like that slowed down the drumming a little, but is sounded really good. The how kit sounded really punchy.
I also saw anthony (ex-vital and my favorite bouncer around). Awesome that he's back on this coast... Paging Keith Mutiney, get that band together! |

eddie and the louvers: wow... My hands are very very sticky. The drummer was wasted by this time of the night and very unsure of his ability to play the set. They started right out with insane amounts of beer being sprayed everywhere. The only band that I've seen that sprays more beer than murphy's law is this one. A constant mist of beer was always over the crowd in the front. Cans were flying everywhere too. I saw so many people get hit in the face with 1/2 empties. All the while their husky friend danced around the stage. The end of the set was a complete mess. It was powered by a 10 minute long
Version of bit it you scum. The crowd went up on the stage for that one. Imagine if you will the grand finale of fireworks, but replace the fireworks with the beer throwing. That's what it was like on stage. As someone thanked everyone who put on the show, beer didn't drip from the ceiling, it poured. Im glad im not leaving for another band cause I think I got a condact drunk going on. |

Such a fun show. Ridiculous amounts of beer sprayed everywhere. I'm starting to enjoy the rock n roll high school mix in these shows. Half the people there were dressed in nice hats and V-necked shirts. Best song of the night...if you lose your keys at a show you can't go home!
