I agree. I feel like when i was younger it wasn't such a big deal. I think it's just the overall gentrification of our entire culture. Turning us into pussies... and uninformed idiots. Teachers aren't allowed to even raise their voices in some schools now. What?! Not that i recommend something as draconian as rulers across the knuckles, or dunce hats, but teachers HAVE to be able to raise their voices. Especially with younger kids, if they don't then the kids won't ever pay attention, and nowadays if they do, the kids complain that their teachers are being cruel, and their pansy ass guidance counselors then call that mental abuse and the teachers are disiplined and maybe even fired if it continues. What the fuck.

And i know all that has VERY little to do with the weather, but it does have to do with the gentrification of our lame ass society.

I think the standard is if there is predicted to be 6" of snowfall in 12 hours or 8" in 24 hours.

I'm not sure when that became the standard. So I can't speak to its relation to the pussification of America.
