Looking for someone with a track record that I can hear who is willing to work cheap to get in with a local (south shore) studio for future steady work...
I refer my clients, and send the stuff that I record, to a fella named Carl Saff out in Chicago.
His rates are unbelieveabley low, considering his quality of work and equipment.
More importantly, he does great work. He's done both acoustic music and harcore/punk stuff for me, always with great results.
Hell of a nice dude too. Sucks not being able to be there while he's working, but with the internet, it's easy enough for him to send you stuff for review, before making the final print.
