Saw Vital with Benton on vocals few years back, good shit. Suprised he will be doing double duty...wouldn't mind hearing shit from the first four Deicide albums, but RI is a drive,ehhh....we'll see.

That was a good show, unfortunately they only played stuff from Dechristianize, hope they play some old shit this time.

Recently i can't put down "Into Cold Darkness" or "Dawn of the Apocalypse". Great great great stuff. I liked that blackmetal feel they had in there. The drumming was definitely a LOT rougher, and the mixes kinda sucked, but it was really solid material.
Dawn of the Apocalypse and Forever Underground are really good albums. I hope to see Dave Suzuki shredding again
I know their new drummer (Kaesh) can play it, he was giving me a lesson (and yes... he's almost ten years younger than me) and i asked him to do some older stuff just so i could watch. It was awesome. He still has the trigger stuff set up to play the samples and the gong/french horn sounds.
Deicide is a band that has always eluded me, but i'm not so sure that i want my first time seeing them to be now, like 10 years AFTER Glen Benton was relevant and had a good voice.
I saw him when they came to the middle east and he is really sick for a young dude, how long has he been playing?
I think he's been playing since he was 5. Sick fucking player. It's strange having someone 2o years old teaching me, but i have only been playing for almost 8 years now.
anthony is the shit. Wish he was doing the vital set. Then it'd be nothing but classic vital. But they'd never do that cause they're queer like that.

the nazi cokehead ruled, whatever happened to him? I remember vital remains was one of the first death metal bands i ever saw, I was 16 and it was at the first nemhf, I'm 26 now.
the reason you would think there have been more vocalists is because suzuki has done studio drums for a while now, so the live drummers don't get much press, as usual.
@zyklon: my bff lives out there full time and loves it. another friend sold all his stuff, quit his job, got rid of his apartment, broke up with his gf, got a job and an apartment for himself in LA and took a week to drive a car with his left over stuff in it. he moved everything into the place, woke up the next morning and looked at the paper that said "don't breath the air today", grabbed his stuff and drove back to new england. he was there for under 24hrs.
