The cd is pretty good but I don't feel it blows my mind or anything. Waiting for the new Gorod to do that. Whenever that happens.

I am blown away by it. It has the techdeath skillz i wanna hear, but they keep melodies ala old IN THY DREAMS (at the gates of pleasure) throughout that pull all the waning together. I really really like it. But i am just as excited for the Gorod. Their new drummer kicks the hell outta that chick they used to have.

Also, new Augury and eventually new Spawn of Possession.

that sounds wonderful. Umm... so i have listened to this record straight thru a couple times today, and i still really dig it, but the last 3-4 tracks don't come through with what the first 6 tracks tell you they will. Still a huge win though. Kinda reminds me of.... in a real wierd way.... CYNIC. I dunno why, but with that bass so loud, and how it's mixed, and the style of guitar/bass writting... i dunno, i hear similarities.

Well that might be because Tymon from Cynic is on one of the tracks........

I mean yeah, that sounds like the obviously correct reason... (which i didn't know) but it sounds like he's involved with the writing of a handful of leads.
