hipster comedy!! came real close to making a hate filled thread about this special last night. all i'll say is once he came on the daily show I started to loose interest.

i just think his stuff is dry and boring. showing stick figures for 5 minutes isn't funny.

I find him both hilarious and incredibly irritating. I love a lot of his ideas but he just drags so many of them out FAR longer than they need to be.

Dude's got some good jokes, but he owes his entire schtick to Steven Wright, Hedberg and Zach Galifianakis. The giant notepad with funny things on it, and playing piano and telling jokes? Zach's, dammit.

I dig some of his work; a handful of tracks/segments on his CD had me in tears but after 4 or 5 listens most of the material loses its charm. I saw the first half of the show and was amused enough to not hate it, but then again, I did shut it off halfway through.
