they pretty much just saw the fucker off. But they do usually do some tests to make sure it healed properly.

did you get any water in it? the smelly skin from the inside of my case was the worst.

toggletoggle post by guy at May 6,2009 2:27pm

toggletoggle post by bradmann   at May 6,2009 2:30pm
i have no real qualms about doing it, i just don't know what to use

toggletoggle post by Hoser at May 6,2009 2:34pm
I cut mine off with a herring. Try using one of those.

toggletoggle post by bradmann   at May 6,2009 2:36pm
it's fiberglass...i don't know what cuts through that besides a cast saw

toggletoggle post by niccolai   at May 6,2009 2:41pm
a dremmel.

You can soak the cast in vinegar and water for about a half hour, and sometimes that will allow you to peel it apart.

do NOT cut yourself if you try and remove it yourself.

for the last few months, underneath that cast has been a breeding ground for bacteria. if you cut yourself, I would bet really good money on you getting a pretty nasty infection.

Dremels rule.

thats why you really don't want to cut yourself while taking a cast off.

that's all bacteria and dead skin.

Dude, I'm dead serious...try a fucking herring. They work awesome.
