I don't have enough of it so I wanna get some more. What are some bands you like?

toggletoggle post by Strep_Cunt  at Jul 19,2009 11:58am
early Carcass, Gut, Impetigo, Irritate, and Embryonic Cryptopathia come to mind right away

toggletoggle post by darkwornli at Jul 19,2009 12:31pm

i think he's porbably looking for more of the ultra br00tal deathgrind stuff as opposed to the stuff that might lean towards the sloppy goregrind side of it.

disgorge
last days of humanity
lividity
inhume
goreinhaled
beheaded
suture
bound and gagged
despondency
brodequin
lust of decay
condemned
liturgy
saprogenic

Downloading a bunch of Disgorge right now, just made a whole list off this thread to check out. Keep 'em coming.

toggletoggle post by archaeon at Jul 19,2009 1:13pm
Disgorge is going to make you shit all over the place.

toggletoggle post by reimroc at Jul 19,2009 1:40pm

As long as your looking for caligorge, of course.

toggletoggle post by immortal13 at Jul 19,2009 7:02pm
yeah I just learned about how many bands there are called Disgorge. I just downloaded the entire discography of the one with albums like "She Lay Gutted" and "Cranial Impalement."

toggletoggle post by archaeon at Jul 19,2009 7:12pm
thats caligorge

Dead Infection

toggletoggle post by blue  at Jul 19,2009 7:45pm
See my above statement.

toggletoggle post by MikeOv at Jul 19,2009 7:48pm
If Last Days of Humanity isn't gore/grind, I don't know what is.

toggletoggle post by MillenialKingdom  at Jul 19,2009 7:52pm
He should listen to Dead Infection anyway. Most of the best Death/Grind came out of the early to mid 90's.

toggletoggle post by blue  at Jul 19,2009 7:59pm
I know I thought that after I listed LDOH. But should be listened to regardless. Sam also goes for dead infection.

toggletoggle post by MikeOv at Jul 19,2009 8:24pm
Both Dead Infection and Last Days of Humanity are(were) killer.
A Chapter of Accidents and Hymns of Indigestible Suppuration are essential filth.

Commit Suicide
Hemdale
Yattering
Mucopus
Tentacles

toggletoggle post by immortal13 at Jul 19,2009 9:18pm
Writing this all down.

Consider me a noob I guess, but I find it hard to notice a difference between deathgrind and brutal death metal. Disgorge sounds like brutal death metal in my ears, so tell me what the difference is that I should be looking for.

toggletoggle post by MikeOv at Jul 19,2009 9:25pm
Only Disgorge (cali) is real.

toggletoggle post by MarkFuckingRichards  at Jul 19,2009 9:32pm
Most of the bands listed aren't even really "deathgrind," they just sound more intense in certain ways than brutal/regular/whatever death metal. To me, LDOH, Dead Infection, Hemdale, Commit Suicide (kind of), General Surgery and the bands Strep Cunt listed are deathgrind. Everything else is really just death metal. It's hard deciphering what genre a band is these days anyway since influences come from far and wide and everyone has a different perception of what a specific genre entails. It really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, in my opinion, since the genre classification isn't what makes a band enjoyable. Either way, listen to all the bands in this thread since they rule regardless.

toggletoggle post by MillenialKingdom  at Jul 19,2009 9:42pm
Don't forget Haemorrhage, Omnium Gatherum, Lord Gore and Circle of Dead Children.

toggletoggle post by madoakdevin nli at Jul 20,2009 3:11pm
i forgot about commit suicide... fuckin' gnarly band!

toggletoggle post by BlackoutRick at Jul 20,2009 5:17pm

toggletoggle post by The_Rooster  at Jul 20,2009 9:22pm
Get Yattering's "Genocide", and Commit Suicide "Human Larvae".

Deathgrind/brutal death, or whatever... doesn't matter. It's some of the sickest shit ever.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jul 20,2009 9:39pm
I need to pirate more commit suicide.

toggletoggle post by metalguy at Jul 20,2009 10:28pm
Whenever someone throws the word grind into the mix I automatically think more of a punk/crust sound. I don't understand how Disgorge or Brodequin came up.

Would Dalmer be closer to the "Deathgrind" label?

toggletoggle post by barbeloh at Jul 21,2009 3:49am
PUSTULATED
Brodequin
Last Days of Humanity = deathgrind for sure (the "Dutch Assault" comp. from relapse has some other good NL grind bands too)
Jig-Ai
General Surgery
I back the Mexican Disgorge all the way.
