Hyenafest: fuck you to whom ever posted that video of the kid screaming along to a song. The whole time i was watching them, that is all i could think of. Slam damn you all.

from empire to ruin: i only thought of that video for a few minutes. They played in more of the stage area of the venue. Odd that there were 2 really pricey HD camera filming them and another canon DSLR. It will probably be on their DVD released with their first CD.

I approve of both death cab for cutie and defeater being played after FETR.

The Summoned, the: some technical issues with their wireless or some business. Serves them right for not telling me about this show! When they started, a ton of people came out of the shadows, including a rather stoned chuck from the metal union. I believe he was snapping pictures and video with a cellphone. He got demoted and is bitter that he couldnt be in palm beach. Someone demoted him to cockparkinglot. All one word.

i thhink a lot of the summoned fans will be downstairs for all the other bands.

shatter this world: played well to a crowd that knew a lot of their songs. Though somehow some of the people knew the last songs which was so new that the band didnt know some of it. a lot of people stayed up for them, but it was a decidedly younger crowd. weird to think of the summoned as "old crowd" people

say your last words: one of the guitar players forgot all of their cables back at home and had to go get them. Still, they had plenty of time to play a bunch of songs. The oddest part of their set was the fact that the singer of deny the crowd did second vocals. I cant really say how they sounded since my first time seeing them was at dbh. You cant really do any better soundwise than that place.
oh and their manager came up to me because i knew him from my cousin's BBQ... even weirder is that my cousin wrote on my wall while i was seeing these guys play.

[band=Devil's Champion]: remember when al used to post here all the time? Well, he's not in the band anymore. The soind was weird and muddy for them. Also, the new singer is a little guy. He kept calling everyone a bunch of vaginas when the were obviously all dicks

armor for the broken: sort of one of the reasons i decided to come to this show. Their set are always fun. The crowd was pretty subdued. Im thinking plenty of people left cause they are younger. We'll see if they come back for tteotd.
