But I'll have some more "Monuments of Blood and Sand" material available soon. One song every year ain't bad.

Not sure where to take the project. The first EP sounded like 8th graders doing their version of The Swans meets Magnetic Fields, and this new song sounds like mid-90's screamo. Who knows.

That's music for ya.

In case you forgot, here was the virtual 7" before:

"Congratulations, You've Won" is finished. I'm not that psyched on the vocal quality, but I really don't have a good setup for recording vocals. Anyone got any ideas how to make this work better with just the internal mic of a G4!? Or a cost effective solution?

Thanks man. Still, I think the vocals are what is stopping me from feeling the same way.

I'm gonna take them out and see if someone else will do them.

I can help you with your vocals. I've recorded vocals for a few different bands and have a pretty good set up. Send me a PM.

It's definitely not a "metal" song, I'll say that flat out.

its funny because as i was listening to this i was thinking swans. theres something about your music writing that just reeks of experimental tones and rhythms in a GOOD way. most hyeo songs are a decent example of this.

Thanks brah.

I like to take something typical and then spin it enough so it kind of makes you think. Sometimes it's a total failure, seems just too weird or unpleasant, but other times it can be a pretty rad success.

Thats the fun thing about experimenting. You never know what you'll come up with.
