How glorious would it be if the Steelers made the playoffs, squared off against the Patriots, and the game came down to one final play where Galloways bobbles the ball in the endzone where it's picked off by Tom Brady wearing Merriweather's jersey and a dreadlock wig.

You hear about favre?

What about him? That Childress tore him a new one, then tried to take him out of the game, and Favre blew him off?

Or something interesting?

Pretty much that. His ego overpowers his coaches; he's doing th same thing he did to his previous teams. He's trying to rack up stats. Fucking hate that dude.

PFT:

Werder also reports that Favre resents that Childress "seldom" discusses the game plan with Favre, and that Childress rarely asks for Favre's input. And when Favre changes the play, Childress "bristles," even when the audible works.

By taking the situation public, Childress is now powerless to remove Favre under the guise of protecting him, or for any other reason. So Favre is running the show in Minnesota, and nothing Childress says or does can change it.
