who want to take bets we already have troops being briefed on the invasion, and they are probably already on the border.

I can't see a way that we won't end up at war with them.

Some random nig gets it in the news so all the people think the place is like Osama bin laden land part 2. They get popular support for said war by linking it with 9/11 hijackers or some junk.

We've already bombed them, or allowed someone else to use our cruise missiles to bomb them. Which, by the way, the president hasn't said anything about allegations of us bombing them or explaining why our embassy is closed.

I mean, I'm all for bombing useless countries, but it sucks because more money will go down the drain and they are being all sneaky about it and not telling us that were in for another war.

what are your thoughts?

Article about special forces being sent and money being increased. I guess I am wrong, they aren't on the borders...we are already there training them to help us fight the terrorists. And I guess we are spending 70 billion on this or something of like nature.

also at this point with all the debt the country is in while still somehow giving aid to everyone, i don't give a shit how much monopoly money they give the Yemeni government, but don't send any soldiers there. i guess i'm too late on that.

I don't know how much world news you follow, but there are much stronger arguments to invade Yemen than there have been for Iraq or Afghanistan... although there is a stronger argument still for Palestine.

toggletoggle post by ouchdrummer   at Jan 5,2010 10:00am
Now, that DOES NOT mean that i think that we should send troops there. I think we've done enough of that for a while as it is.

Africa is next. and not for humane reasons to assist in battling genocide. They could care less.

This shit is getting too easy to predict.

I read probably 10 different papers in a daily basis and there's no good reason for Yemeni invasion. It's about oil again. If anyone thinks the Christmas underwear bomber was an al Qaida extremist with ties to Yemen, then you've bought into the MSM propaganda to convince the public to invade.
That was the shoddiest attempt at supposed terrorism; given the eyewitness accounts of a fancy businessman helping him onto the plane without a passport or any other credentials, then the reports of him being taped the whole time. keep in mind the Dutch airport has numerous millimeter wave scanners and is one of the most secure and used international airports in the world. Where the security video? It's funny how these accounts disappear in the media and are barely mentioned on the back pages now.
This incident will also result in tougher security measures at us airports. Logan, among others, are already on a list for more millimeter wave scanners.

In all reality, who cares anyway. I'd rather fap all day than worry about stuff we have no control over.

amen!

toggletoggle post by ouchdrummer   at Jan 5,2010 11:17am
Well the scanners that you're referencing that the Dutch have ARE among the best in the world, and they aren't allowed to use them on people flying into the US due to the invasion of privacy rights. I heard that on PBS world focus.

Yeah as soon as I heard of the botched attempt I thought "hmmm where are we gonna invade now?" I was waiting for them to tie the kid to al-queda

He had ties to the radical cleric that the fort hood shooter had. Then again there were reports of multiple gunmen at ft hood and shots were heard after Hassan was taken down. Remember how access to ft hood was blocked until AFTER the FBI investigated it?
Tell me, why have we not killed this "cleric" ? Is it because we are still after bin laden, or is it because they're both CIA agents?

bingo. that's what's gonna change.
I personally don't care if my junk shows up on a screen behind a locked door.

What should have more focus by the msm is how he got on an international flight with no passport, and how he walked through security with explosive material on him. Again, speculation is abundant because of eyewitness accounts of him getting help and assisted through security.

I would be really surprised if this stuff gets more focus in the msm but I doubt it. They will only focus on securing our airports rather than questioning the pecular circumstances surrounding the underwear bomber.

Lol, I just flicked on Alex jones to see what he's saying about all this and he was talking about how the millimeter wave scanners are bad because they make little kids naked and that's pedophilia. Quickly shut it off.
