Schopenhauer espouses a transcendental worldview, unlike the dualistic worldview which requires a creator without (a) a creator of the creator and (b) a time/space/cause-effect scenario in existence before the creator.
I totally recommend reading him. He's an easy read, fun and witty. And absolutely clear. But, start with "The Fourfold Root" just like you start Nietzsche with "On truth and lies."
