New site? Maybe some day.

So this is more-less the ad I put out:
"Hey I'm looking for a talented and dedicated guitarist to start a new (not nu) death/experimental metal band with. Most important thing is that we get along well and can develop some good musical chemistry. I am 25 years old (been playing drums seriously for about 10 years) and would like someone who is probably somewhere between the ages of 21 and 28. What I would like to do is put together some demo tracks so we can (sooner than later) find other band members, which would probably be vocals, bass, and a 2nd guitarist. Think bands like Nile, Death, Amon Amarth, and with a (un)healthy injection of Meshuggah. Nile would be more the shredding aspect, Amon Amarth/ Death being the melodic but ballsy side, and Meshuggah being the side where you have no choice but to go into a full-body headbang. No typical hardcore/deathcore breakdowns here. The only kind of "breakdown" would be the style that Meshuggah does it in (if you call that a breakdown). Drinking/420 is fine as long as you aren't a complete mess. Getting stoned or too drunk before practice or a show is not cool. If you want to hear some of my playing, I don't have anything very recent recorded but you can check out www.myspace.com/thearkhamwhite. I have all pro gear and you should too. Also, if you're able to commute to Canton to practice at my place that'd be ideal. "
I realize this is very specific as far as style .. what I wrote is basically what I'd ideally like to be playing, doesn't have to be exactly that (gotta ween out a lot of bullshit on the interweb). I wanna have fun with this but I'm not fucking around
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, or you have any suggestions, hit me up on here or email me iamnotkennyg@gmail.com |

|
thanks jimbo! ya we broke up a few months ago.. sucks |
|
good luck dude... i still rock that arkham white disc. hope you can pull somethin together soon |
|
the real question is this:
Sure, you can play drums... but can you drive a tank? Or where they not invented yet when you last played? |
|
I tried real hard to figure out what you're talking about but it started to hurt |
|
its best not to think about it
maybe a rule 34 for tanks would clarify? |

we need a drummer. if your interested let us know, but it sounds like you want to get your own thing going. we jam in littleton, ma. we've had our share of drummers bailing on us, who get too fucked up before practice and shows, so you wont have any of that shit from us, we only get the perfect amount fucked up. we have those 8 songs recorded that youd need to learn, the next disc youd be a part of all the writing, but what we have already is a lot of shit to choke down...
