CLINGING TO THE TREES OF A FOREST FIRE Unveil Track Listing
Denver's CLINGING TO THE TREES OF A FOREST FIRE have announced the track listing of their PROSTHETIC RECORDS' debut, "Songs of Ill Hope and Desperation," due out on June 8, 2010. The album was recorded by Dave Otero at Flatline Audio (Cephalic Carnage, Catheter, Cobalt) and the band promises their "most dynamic, bleakest, and dirtiest material to date."

CLINGING TO THE TREES OF A FOREST FIRE, who have been referred to as "funeral grind," because they are "too slow for grindcore, too slow for doom," formed and released "Harmonies From Bleeding Mouths," an EP in 2006, and their first full-length, "Omega Drunk On The Blood Of Alpha" in 2008 on Debello Recordings. The band has drawn comparisons to acts such as Brutal Truth, Pig Destroyer, Discordance Axis, EyeHateGod and Napalm Death.
CLINGING TO THE TREES OF A FOREST FIRE will tour this summer with Oregon's BURIALS. Dates will be announced shortly. In the mean time, they can be seen live at the following:
