Yeah, when I added the 2 touring bands I knew this was gonna be mildly tough, but I didn't really want to give bands the shaft and take some off. But with extra bands and the schedule shifting due to cab backlines, the Bore Core bitches took one for the team and have gracefully bowed down to help the show move more swiftly.

Bands were awesome. I was eating during Goreality, and left before the two CA bands, but all the bands i saw sounded great. I usually can't hear Hivesmasher as well as i could, and PE was tight as a dolphins butt! Scaphism did awesome, Tom's bass sound ruled, and Tony is a super-duper vocal-guy!

CONGRATULATIONS TIMMY! It was a wonderful first show that you did superb at. I even TRIED to hear mistakes, but only heard little stuff. Kudos, and as much as i like all the outfits, Jimmy's was the funniest by far. It was almost like a 1994 snowboarder... very cool.... especially the goggles around his neck! haha. That stupid whistle thing has GOT to GO! (mark) and IMHO, Mikeposted was the highlight of the night for me. I could hear everything he did LOUD and clear, and i loved it... you sexy bitch! |

great show, Hivesmasher was so unbelievably loud. two members puked after the show, that's got to be a record. i'm so glad i didn't eat anything from that burrito place, everything looked devastating. Composted sounded killer, once you guys fine-tune the rough edges with new members, it's going to be epic. Evan sounded awesome, he cupped the mic with two hands and it kind of wrecked what he was trying to do, but after a while he moved one hand and it added so much to his sound. Tim was too focused to notice me trying to make him laugh the way he did to me during our set. |

I could hear the beats fine, it was only when you got faster with blasts/fast fills that i had trouble hearing it. I think you could lighten up on the regular parts, and that would give you the energy to hit harder on the fast parts, and you'd sound a little more consistent. Not that i'm saying you're INCONSISTENT or anything, just being honest about a possible area of improvement. The thing is, when you're trying so hard to make every hit audible, you end up hitting harder than you have to on the slower parts, then not being able to match it in the faster parts. I probably goofed with the consistency too. Adrenaline will just force you to play loud as fuck when you don't really need to, then when it's time for fast shit, there's only so much you can do. I need to start filming shows for audio at the least. Twill let me know what I need to focus on.

i agree, i end up starting the first song playing really hard with all the adrenaline that gets built up, and then its impossible to keep that same energy up for 30 minutes.
